Dr. Shayan Khan is dedicated to providing quality care and fostering compassion in his practice. He prioritizes patient education and strives to create an environment where every patient can experience peace of mind and freedom from dental anxiety. His extensive experience across all aspects of dentistry motivates him to ensure a positive and pleasant dental experience for patients of all ages.

Dr. Khan has invested in his professional development, completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Baqai Dental University and holds a master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from Benedictine University. He actively participates in continuing education courses to stay current with advancements in dental products and technologies.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Khan is passionate about serving his community and enriching lives through Dental Public Health initiatives. In his free time, he enjoys spending weekends with his wife, friends, and their four-year-old son.

For Dr. Amera Lawand, dentistry is more than teeth—it’s about people, families, and the confidence a healthy smile brings. She believes every dental visit should feel comfortable, positive, and even a little uplifting—like catching up with a trusted friend who just happens to care for your smile.

A proud graduate of Texas A&M College of Dentistry, Dr. Lawand combines advanced training with a warm, down-to-earth personality that makes patients of all ages feel at home. Whether it’s enhancing your smile with natural-looking veneers, replacing missing teeth with state-of-the-art dental implants, or easing nerves with gentle IV sedation, she’s dedicated to creating smiles that shine—inside and out.

What makes Dr. Lawand special is her personal touch. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and explain options in simple, friendly language. Patients often say her calm, reassuring approach feels more like being cared for by family than being “at the dentist.”

Dr. Elizabeth Cheng grew up in Katy, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry in 2009. Knowing she wanted to pursue dentistry since first grade, she attended UT School of Dentistry at Houston where she graduated as one of the top 10 students of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society in 2013. After completing a post-graduate residency at Mare Island VA in Northern California, Dr. Cheng joined this practice in 2014 as an associate dentist and later took over as owner in 2021. Dr. Cheng is committed to lifelong learning and has attended over 500 hours of continuing education courses. She is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction held by only 7% of dentists in the United States. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and 2 sons.
