Dr. John Richards, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Richards was born and raised in El Campo, Texas. He attended Texas A & M, where he was a distinguished student and a distinguished military graduate. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from UT School of Dentistry at Houston. He practiced dentistry in the U.S. Army in Huntsville, Alabama, for two years and in Houston for five years. He then returned to El Campo where he has been practicing dentistry for over 35 years. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction held by only 7% of dentists in the country. In addition, he is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife Susan.
Dr. Elizabeth Cheng, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Cheng grew up in Katy, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry. Knowing she wanted to pursue dentistry since first grade, she attended UT School of Dentistry at Houston where she earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She graduated in the top 10 of her dental school class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. She further pursued post-graduate residency training at a VA clinic in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing complex dental care to medically-compromised veterans. Dr. Cheng is committed to lifelong learning and has attended over 500 hours of continuing education courses. She is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction held by only 7% of dentists in the country. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, running and spending time with her husband Andrew and son Gordon.
