Dr. Elizabeth C. Cheng, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Elizabeth Cheng grew up in Katy, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry in 2009. Knowing she wanted to pursue dentistry since first grade, she attended UT School of Dentistry at Houston where she graduated as one of the top 10 students of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society in 2013. After completing a post-graduate residency at Mare Island VA in Northern California, Dr. Cheng joined this practice in 2014 as an associate dentist and later took over as owner in 2021. Dr. Cheng is committed to lifelong learning and has attended over 500 hours of continuing education courses. She is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction held by only 7% of dentists in the United States. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and 2 sons.
Dr. John L. Richards, DDS, FAGD
Dr. John Richards started this practice in El Campo in 1980 and practiced dentistry for over 40 years. Although he retired in 2021, he currently serves as a consultant for our office and works closely with Dr. Cheng on complex treatment cases, sharing his wisdom from decades of experience. He resides in El Campo and enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife Susan.
