Veneers in El Campo, TX
Have you ever looked at a picture of your favorite celebrity and wondered how they have such perfect smiles? The answer is most likely porcelain veneers! Porcelain veneers are a great way to fix multiple flaws that you may dislike in your smile and give yourself a nearly flawless smile for years.
What Are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are a set of thin covers that are attached to your teeth to give you a perfect, pearly white smile. Whether you struggle with misalignment, gaps in your smile, a stained or yellowed smile, or crooked teeth, porcelain veneers are a great way to repair all the flaws and give you a dazzling smile that you’ll be excited to show off.
Because veneers are made from porcelain, you won’t have to worry about any future staining. Porcelain is a stain-resistant material, so stains from coffee, tea, or red wine won’t be able to stick to your teeth anymore. With proper care, you should be able to keep your teeth white and shining for years. Luckily, care is easy and just includes your normal oral hygiene routine of daily brushing and flossing!
Just like with your normal teeth, an important part of caring for your veneers is to be gentle with them! Avoid biting your nails or other hard surfaces that may chip your teeth, and never use your teeth to open any bags or containers. However, veneers are strong enough that they can function just like your normal teeth, and you’ll still be able to enjoy your favorite foods without any worry.
What Does The Process Entail?
The process takes approximately two to three visits. In the first visit, we will discuss with you the new shape and look of your veneers. Once we have established a plan, we will carefully prepare the teeth for the placement of the new veneers. An impression will be taken, which is then sent to our laboratory for the final product to be fabricated. The laboratory takes approximately two to three weeks. During this period, we will provide you with a beautiful temporary solution to wear.
The final appointment involves removing the temporaries and trying in your new veneers. We will verify that you are happy with the final shape, color and overall fit of each veneer before they are bonded in place.
